Intra-Oral Camera
This is a tiny camera on a hand held wand. It sends instant images ot your teeth and the inside of your mouth to a computer screen that is visible both to you and your dentist. It gives the dentist the perfect opportunity to ‘zoom in’ on any problem areas and explain any treatment that is necessary. You benefit from a much better understanding and a ‘dentist’s eye view’.

Healozone
Ozone gas is used to kill the bacteria that cause tooth decay. It is applied for up to a minute using a special suction cup. When decay is present, the tooth surface is soft. Killing the bacteria and giving you a mineral mouthwash to use at home allows the tooth surface to become hard again and more resistant to future decay. Treatment with ozone at the early stage of decay is very effective in avoiding fillings.

Air Abrasion
Air abrasion is like very gentle sand blasting. It removes tooth tissue and decay but does not harm the surrounding soft tissue. As a result fillings can be kept very small and because a drill is not used there is no need to make the tooth numb.

Diagnodent
This is a special scanning laser used to screen the visible part of the tooth. It used as an alternative to X-rays and looks inside the tooth’s surface to measure the presence and depth of decay.
